ABOUT JACOB FEEHAN

Jacob Feehan is a proud citizen of Henderson County. Growing up in Henderson County taught him the importance of hard work, personal responsibility, and the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. Those lessons played a vital role in the man he has become and continue to guide him on how he serves.

Feehan earned his undergraduate degree in history from The Ohio State University, where he focused my studies on the political careers and governing principles of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. His study of history has reinforced his commitment to fiscal responsibility, social conservatism, and patriotic fervor.

During the COVID pandemic, he worked as a nursing assistant in a nursing home to help pay his way through college. Working in the Alzheimer's community reminded him of the immense value of showing love to his fellow humans. That
experience played a profound role in shaping his understanding of the need for compassion.

His interest in public service led him to serve as an intern on the "Marsha Blackburn for Senate" campaign in 2024. Seeing modern political leadership up close confirmed his belief that politics, when rooted in principle and conviction, can truly serve the public good.

Feehan is an English teacher at Scotts Hill High School, a role he considers both an honor and a
responsibility. He also teaches American History and World History, subjects that closely align with
his academic background and personal interests. In the classroom, He strives to teach students how
to think critically, communicate clearly, and value truth.

Outside of school, he preaches full time at Sardis Community Church and hosts The American’s Minute, a radio segment focused on faith, patriotism, and encouragement.

He is currently continuing his education by pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Liberty University, further preparing him for leadership and ministry. He is simultaneously working on getting his Masters of Secondary Education from UT Martin.

When he is not teaching or studying, he enjoys running long distances, an activity that reminds him of the importance of
discipline. He has logged many miles all over Henderson County in preparation for such events as the St. Jude marathon.

"Henderson County is where I have chosen to invest my talents, my career, and my
calling. It is my home, and it is where I belong. My commitment to this community, combined
with my faith, education, and professional experience, has led me to seek the office of county
mayor. I am running to serve, to lead with integrity, and to help ensure that Henderson County
remains a place where the future can grow, prosper, and proudly call it home."
